Joint to Sole Tenancy: Outline

A joint tenancy may need to be converted into a sole tenancy when, for example, one of the tenants has either died or moved out of the property.

There may be other reasons why changes to tenancies occur.  In all cases the person wishing to change a tenancy must contact their neighbourhood officer for further information and to complete any relevant paperwork.
