Here we are again, with summer looking as though it is as far away as ever. We will all be following England’s fortune in the football World Cup, even if we are not dedicated soccer fans.
Here we are again, with summer looking as though it is as far away as ever. We will all be following England’s fortune in the football World Cup, even if we are not dedicated soccer fans.
Once again we have been asking tenants of Dale & Valley Homes to step up to the board and become board members of the company.
Making ends meet is a challenge for everyone. It doesn’t matter who you are, there will always be more you want to buy than you can afford and learning to do without the things you can’t afford can be a tough lesson.
When I visit the offices of Dale & Valley Homes I am constantly surprised by how many young people we employ.
The last time we built new council homes in Wear Valley was more than 25 years ago.
Everything we do at Dale & Valley Homes is based around customer involvement. Key to this are the local residents’ associations because they help us to keep in touch with people living in our homes and let them have a say about how we work and what needs
There has been a lot of news lately about the new homes which we are planning to build in partnership with Durham County Council and developers Keepmoat.
The problems we all face day to day are certainly put in perspective by the disaster which has struck the people of Haiti .
I hope that you are all coping well with the weather. It certainly brings back memories of years gone by.
