At Dale & Valley Homes we want to ensure all our customers are as informed as possible about the services we provide. The handbook aims to give you practical information about your home and the services you can expect to receive from Dale & Valley Homes.

The handbook has been split into four sections:

  • Section 1 - Welcome to Dale & Valley Homes
  • Section 2 - Becoming a tenant
  • Section 3 - Living in your Dale & Valley Home
  • Section 4 - Useful contacts

The first two sections have been developed for the benefit of all new customers of Dale & Valley Homes, explaining who we are and giving useful guidance steps of what to do when first signing up for your new tenancy.

Section 3 of the handbook explains what you can expect from us at Dale & Valley Homes as well as guidance about your rights and responsibilities as a tenant. This section gives details of our service areas:

  • Access and customer care
  • Equality and diversity
  • Customer involvement
  • Managing your home
  • Repairs
  • Delivering Decent Homes
  • Estate management
  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Moving home

Section 4 gives contact details for a number of different organisations which may help you with the running of your tenancy and settling into your neighbourhood.

Our handbook is given to all new customers of Dale & Valley Homes when the sign their tenancy agreement, this ensures our customers have all the information they require from the very beginning of their tenancy.
