Keeping our properties in a good state of repair is one of our most
important tasks. We have a legal responsibility to our customers to
keep their home in a reasonable state of repair.
Repairs and maintenance is split into two areas;
responsive repairs
planned maintenance
Responsive repairs cover items that customers report to us on a daily basis and cover emergencies, urgent and routine repairs.
Planned
maintenance is a programme of major improvements that we have
identified for a group of properties, this work is often referred to as
Decent Homes. This includes things like gas central heating
replacement, pre-painting works, kitchens and bathrooms and re-roofing.
We also have a window and door replacement programme.
