Feedback on your involvement
By getting involved you help us improve and develop services for all customers, ensuring they are what you want and need from us. Over the past three months customers have been involved through many methods such as working groups, strategic meetings and completing surveys at home. Here are some of the improvements/changes that have been made as a result of this involvement:
- We have changed our policy on vulnerable people sleeping downstairs with gas fires - we now prioritise Decent Homes or boiler replacements so we have no customers at risk
- To help combat condensation we have changed extractor fans to a constant run type
- Now when properties become empty we decorate kitchens and bathrooms before a new customer moves in
- When new customers move in to their home we provide them with a clean or new wheelie bin
- We have increased the choice of worktops for customers when they are getting their Decent Homes work carried out
- We are investigating the possible alternative light fittings for kitchens
- Customers have and continue to help us develop a Local Lettings Policy
- New information leaflets will be created to raise customer awareness of the Choice Based Lettings service
- Customers will be involved with the development of future Choice Based Letting newsletters that are sent to customers on the housing register
