A neighbourhood agreement is a formal document created between the
residents of an area, Dale & Valley Homes and other relevant
agencies such as the local police, to help tackle issues of concern
within a neighbourhood.
Neighbourhood agreements aim to give
you more say on how your area is managed by setting down minimum
standards for various services and identifying priorities for
improvements.
To monitor a neighbourhood agreement, meetings
should take place every three months with everyone who has committed to
take part. These meetings ensure the standards are being met and the
action plan is being followed.
Dale & Valley Homes are currently piloting a neighbourhood agreement with the customers of Watergate estate in Crook.
