About the Director
Pat Wanless began her career in housing as a receptionist with Derwentside District Council's housing department in 1990. She enjoyed the work so much she decided to study for various housing qualifications and had several roles in housing with Derwentside Council before moving to work with one of the Leeds ALMOs in 2003. She joined Dale & Valley Homes in April 2007.
Pat believes that customers and staff should be fully involved in agreeing and monitoring the quality of the services delivered to the customers of Dale & Valley Homes. She enjoys going out to meetings with residents to listen to their views as this helps her understand what happens in the local neighbourhoods and what is important to the people who live in the homes we manage.
As director of neighbourhoods with Dale & Valley Homes Pat's responsibilities include: letting homes, rent collection, promoting customer involvement, supporting vulnerable customers, enforcing tenancy conditions and estate management.
