Corporate Equality Group

Introduction

Members of our corporate equality group include customers, board members and staff. This group oversees and scrutinises all the work the company does in relation to equalities and diversity. It makes sure that we are not discriminating against any of our customers or employees through the work we carry out.

To do this they scrutinise the following areas:

production of and progress on our single equality scheme
progress on our equality and diversity strategy
making sure we complete equality impact assessments and carry out any improvements needed through the action plans
making sure we are meeting our general duties around equalities legislation and codes of practice
develop and agree equality & diversity training
