Aids and Adaptations

Introduction

From April 2010, Dale & Valley Homes took over from the Home Improvement Agency to carry our aids and adaptations to homes.

Aids and adaptations are changes made to our properties to ensure that our customers can remain in their homes for as long as possible. 

Adaptations are works carried out on properties can be anything from a grab rail or handrail, to a level access hower or ramped access.

Adaptations are classed as major or minor. All major adaptations and most minor adaptations will require an assessment from an occupational therapist.
