Better Homes, Better Lives

Introduction

If you are involved with community activities in Wear Valley you could receive financial help from the Better Homes, Better Lives fund.

This fund was launched in 2009 to provide small grants of up to £500 to groups in the area, it has simple aim: to will benefit our customers and their families by supporting communities and improving opportunities.

There is no complicated application form, all you have to do is write us a letter explaining why you would like a grant, outline the costs and income you expect to receive, and enclose any supporting documents you would like us to see.

If your application is approved you will need to provide something to prove you have a relevant bank account.
