What you can expect from us
Customers have helped us put together a new set of promises we are making to everyone who lives in a Dale & Valley Home.
These promises we are calling customer guarantees and they outline what will will do in four areas of our work:
· allocating homes and managing your tenancy
· providing decent homes and improving the repairs service
· managing your neighbourhood and dealing with anti-social behaviour
· getting involved and communicating with you.
Leaflets explaining the guarantees have been sent to every home we manage so existing customers should already have all the information. The guarantees are also available on the website.
Clair Ord, customer insight manager, said: "The way we are regulated has changed recently and, as part of that, we had to produce a series of promises for customers so they would know what to expect from us.
"Each social housing provider has had to do this in consultation with their own tenants and we worked very hard to find out what the people who live in our homes wanted.
"I think the customer guarantees are clear, easy to understand and they give us an excellent understanding of what customers want.
